Book Three

Death at Windsor Castle

Queen Elizabeth is about to join the Knights of the Garter in one of Britain’s oldest ceremonies when a body is discovered in Windsor Castle’s Throne Room.

While the police focus on an obvious suspect, Her Majesty quietly dispatches her favourite unofficial investigator: Jane Bee, Canadian housemaid and reluctant detective. Between aristocrats with complicated family trees, artists with secrets to hide, tabloid reporters, palace gossip, and scandals best left buried, Jane soon finds herself untangling a mystery as intricate as the castle itself. Fortunately, she has one advantage over everyone else: Her Majesty is helping.
